We’re looking for SIA licensed Security Officers to join our hospital team and help protect patients, visitors, and staff in a caring healthcare environment.

Full time and part time available shifts.
Shifts: Nights ,days and weekends permanent ,rota basis (no nights only)
All applicants are subject to Screening to BS7858:2019, an initial written test to ensure background knowledge.

What you’ll do:
- Assist with safeguarding duties, including supporting vulnerable patients.
- Carry out regular patrols and report any security or safety concerns.
- Provide a visible, reassuring security presence across hospital sites.
- Control access to wards and restricted areas.
- Respond to incidents calmly and effectively, supporting clinical teams where needed.
- De-escalate challenging behaviour and use safe breakaway techniques when necessary.
What we’re looking for:
Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Professional, reliable, and able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Must have the ability to answer security related questions at interview, knowledge of security is essential.
Essential:
Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding/Door Supervision)
3 Years experience

Beneficial Training certificates before interview:
- Lone Worker Awareness
- Extremism & Radicalisation Awareness
- Sharps Awareness (safe handling of needles & sharps)
- Conflict Resolution
- Breakaway Technique.
