Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service in a lively restaurant environment, ensuring guests have a memorable experience from arrival to departure. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a welcoming demeanour. Previous experience in catering, serving, or food preparation is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right applicant. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic setting.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and drinks in accordance with health and safety standards
- Provide attentive customer service throughout the guest’s visit
- Assist with food preparation and presentation when required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times
- Support barista duties if applicable, including preparing specialised coffee beverages
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Skills
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Experience in food preparation or restaurant service is advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to adapt to different shifts and duties as required
- Barista experience is a plus but not essential
- A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service and creating positive guest experiences
