Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service in a lively restaurant environment, ensuring guests have a memorable experience from arrival to departure. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a welcoming demeanour. Previous experience in catering, serving, or food preparation is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right applicant. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and drinks in accordance with health and safety standards
- Provide attentive customer service throughout the guest’s visit
- Assist with food preparation and presentation when required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times
- Support barista duties if applicable, including preparing specialised coffee beverages
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Skills
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Experience in food preparation or restaurant service is advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to adapt to different shifts and duties as required
- Barista experience is a plus but not essential
- A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service and creating positive guest experiences
