Job Overview
As a Blender at ATL Turbine Services, you will be responsible for preparing and processing gas turbine components through surface treatment activities and polishing techniques, ensuring compliance with strict operational and quality standards. This hands-on role involves tasks such as coating removal, polishing, re-profiling. Using various air driven hand tools while maintaining accurate documentation and high housekeeping standards. You’ll play a key part in supporting health and safety, continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with other departments to deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Duties
- Working effectively and responsibly with power tools within the relevant HSE guidelines.
- Manage components through production stages and maintain accurate documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
- Participate in daily equipment checks and housekeeping (5S).
- Support continuous improvement and assist in training team members.
Experience
- Previous experience processing components through a manufacturing environment.
- Experience using Hand, Air & power tools
- Previous metal finishing/ polishing experience
- Experience working shift patterns.
- Strong attention to detail and health & safety awareness.
- Good interpersonal skills and a positive team player.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and willingness to learn.
- Ability to multitask and thrive during peak workload periods.
