Nursery Apprentice – 3 Positions Available

Due to our nursery numbers increasing from September, we are excited to be recruiting 3 Nursery Apprentices to join our friendly and supportive team.
We have one apprenticeship position available in each of our rooms, giving you the opportunity to work with a specific age group:
This is a fantastic opportunity to start your career in Early Years while working towards a recognised Early Years apprenticeship qualification. You will learn alongside experienced practitioners and gain valuable hands-on experience supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing.
About the Role
As a Nursery Apprentice, you will work alongside our experienced Early Years practitioners and develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to build a career in childcare.
Your role will include:
- Supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing
- Helping to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment
- Supporting planned activities and children's individual interests
- Building positive relationships with children and their families
- Working as part of a supportive nursery team
- Developing your knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Completing your apprenticeship training and coursework alongside your practical experience
About You

No previous nursery experience is required, as full training and support will be provided.
Apprenticeship Entry Requirements:
To be eligible to complete the apprenticeship, you must have GCSEs at Grade C/Grade 4 or above (or equivalent qualifications) in the required subjects.
Please ensure your CV clearly states your GCSE grades (or equivalent qualifications). Applicants whose CVs do not show their GCSE grades will not be considered for shortlisting.

Safer Recruitment
As part of our safer recruitment procedures, all successful applicants will be required to complete the following checks before commencing employment:
- Two satisfactory references, with at least one reference being from your current or most recent employer.
- A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
The successful candidate will also be subject to a 3-month probationary period, during which their suitability for the role, performance and conduct will be reviewed.
