About Us
At Smith & Brock, we're not just in the business of fresh produce — we're in the business of people, relationships, and responsibility. As a proudly family-run company, our values sit at the heart of everything we do: quality without compromise, integrity in every interaction, and sustainability that protects the future.
Bespoke by Smith & Brock is our premium food production business, created in partnership with former Michelin-starred chef Marcus Eaves. Built on the same trusted values, Bespoke combines culinary excellence, creativity, and operational scale to deliver exceptional products and experiences.
The role
This is not a restaurant role. Bespoke by Smith & Brock operates as a premium production kitchen, think Michelin-level standards applied to large-scale food production, not covers and service. We're looking for a Senior Production Chef who understands the discipline, precision, and consistency that high-volume premium production demands, and who is ready to bring genuine craft to a growing and ambitious business.
You'll work closely with the Bespoke Director and culinary team to maintain exceptional standards across production, contribute to recipe development and product innovation, and play a key role in developing the junior team around you.
What you'll be doing
- Leading day-to-day production in the kitchen to consistently high standards of quality and presentation
- Delivering large-scale food production with the precision and care of a premium culinary environment
- Supporting menu development, recipe testing, and ongoing product innovation
- Training, mentoring, and developing junior kitchen team members
- Maintaining rigorous food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards at all times
- Contributing to efficient kitchen systems, workflows, and production planning
- Being a calm, positive, and solutions-focused presence as the business continues to grow
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in a production kitchen, catering, or large-scale culinary environment — restaurant experience is valued, but an understanding of production is essential
- A genuine passion for food quality, premium ingredients, and culinary craft
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and an eye for consistency
- A natural team player who takes pride in developing others
- Calm under pressure, adaptable, and hands-on
- Excited by the opportunity to build something ambitious alongside a Michelin-starred chef
What's in it for you
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, weekends off, genuinely (occasionally working)
- One of the rarest schedules in the chef world no evenings, no service, no split shifts
- Weekly grocery shop including fresh fruit and vegetables at cost price
- Earned wage access, get paid early before payday
- The opportunity to work alongside Michelin-starred chef Marcus Eaves
- A supportive, values-driven, family-run company culture with real room to grow
