Overview
We are seeking a motivated and versatile General Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a physically demanding environment. Previous experience with hand tools, power tools, or machinery is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. .
Responsibilities
- Assisting with various tasks across the business
- Operating hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Supporting construction activities such as digging, lifting, and moving materials
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure safety and efficiency
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the work site
- Assisting with general labour duties including loading and unloading materials
- Supporting specialised tasks related to gardening, horticulture, or site development as required
Requirements
- Previous experience is advantageous but not necessary
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools and hand tools is beneficial
- Good physical fitness with the ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Valid UK driving licence (mandatory)
- Valid CSCS card
- Be able to travel and stay away from home for site works (not weekends)
- Ready to work ASAP
*Please note that we work for Tier 1 & Tier 2 Construction clients that will have an induction process which will involve D&A testing
Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
