Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties
- Wash, clean, and sanitise dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas throughout shifts
- Support the organisation of stock and supplies in designated storage areas
- Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and recycling procedures are followed
- Help with setting up and clearing dining areas as required
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen environments is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety standards is desirable
- Experience working in restaurants, hotels, or catering establishments is beneficial
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for cleanliness and detail
