Overview
We are seeking a skilled Aluminium Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming aluminium materials into high-quality components and assemblies, supporting our production processes with precision and expertise. Responsibilities
- Fabricate aluminium components according to technical drawings and specifications
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised tooling to cut and assemble aluminium sheets and profiles
- Perform grinding, welding, and finishing tasks to ensure smooth surfaces and precise joins
- Conduct basic measurements and calculations using simple maths to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Assemble fabricated parts into final products or sub-assemblies with accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety standards at all times
- Assist in troubleshooting fabrication issues and suggest improvements to processes
Requirements
- Proven experience in fabrication, welding, grinding, or related mechanical work is preferred
- Good knowledge of, and ability to fabricate using Systems such as Kestrel, Senior, Smart & Metal Technologies.
- Knowledge of sheet metal work and handling aluminium materials is advantageous
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and specialised tooling used in metal fabrication
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical drawings accurately
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience with assembly processes is desirable
- A proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards within a manufacturing environment
