Shop Assistant (Warehouse Focus)
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Locations: Tian Tian Market – West, East & Central London
Tian Tian Market is looking for hardworking and reliable Shop Assistants (Warehouse Focus) to join our growing team across our West, East and Central London stores.
This is a physically demanding role that is primarily based in the warehouse and stockroom, with some shop floor duties. If you enjoy staying active, working as part of a team, and don't mind regular heavy lifting, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload and check deliveries.
- Lift, carry and move stock safely between the warehouse and shop floor.
- Replenish shelves and ensure products are well stocked and correctly displayed.
- Rotate stock (FIFO) and carry out regular date checks.
- Organise and maintain a clean, safe and efficient warehouse.
- Assist with stock counts and inventory control.
- Support customers by helping them locate products when required.
- Process cash and card payments when required.
- Follow Health & Safety procedures and safe manual handling practices at all times.
- Work closely with supervisors and colleagues to keep the store running efficiently.
What We're Looking For
- Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
- Good physical fitness and stamina.
- Able to safely carry out frequent heavy lifting and manual handling (up to 25 kg).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse and retail environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Previous warehouse or retail experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
