Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our talented team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing manufacturing drawings as well as customer approvals. These could be variations on standard products or involve new design work.
Your expertise will help ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and functionality while supporting our commitment to first-class service.
Duties
- Collaborate with project teams to develop system concepts and detailed designs using CAD software such as SolidWorks.
- Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot design issues and optimize product performance.
- Prepare technical documentation including drawings, specifications, and system design reports.
- Support prototype development and testing.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in system design, CAD modeling, and schematic creation within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with GD&T principles for precise manufacturing drawings.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis on design issues.
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience working with schematics and CAD software.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and document technical processes clearly.
