Job Description
Location: Edinburgh
Pay: £135.00 per day + VAT
Bonus: Up to £120 per week based on performance
Total: £1,092.00 per week incl. VAT (for qualifying drivers)
Van: Fully insured van provided (kept on site)
Fuel: Covered (subject to conditions)
Route: Pre-planned routes using the Flex delivery app
Training: Full delivery and safety training provided.
Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Lead Driver, to support their management team and driver team delivering parcels across Edinburgh for the world's biggest online retailer. This role is Hybrid, there will be support and training if required. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing logistics team, delivering parcels with the support of a trusted brand. Opportunities to develop into management are available and encouraged.

Route Length: Approx. 9 hours per day

Schedule: 4–6 days per week (at least one weekend day availability required)

Transport: You will need your own transport to and from the van parking site (vehicle cannot be taken home)

Requirements
-
Previous Lead Driver experience in a similar logistics environment

Confident to liaise with our partner management team and lead the driver team

At least 6 months of commercial van driving experience (3.5t and above)

Full manual UK/EU Driving Licence (maximum 5 penalty points, no DR or IN convictions)

Must meet minimum age requirements for insurance

Able to pass a DBS check

Follow all road safety and company procedures
-
Physically fit – this is an active role with daily parcel handling of 170+ stops per day

Comfortable working independently and in all weather conditions

Load parcels into the delivery vehicle each morning
