We are a small independent cafe located in central Cambridge specializing in artisan coffee, cocktails and homemade gelato. We are looking for a hard working individual with great customer service who can join our friendly team, someone we can trust to provide great quality coffee as well as a perfect scoop of gelato.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages to customers, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks (barista experience is not required but preferable)
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including cleaning tables and restocking supplies.
- Adhere to food safety standards while handling and preparing food items.
- Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and provide prompt service to customers.
Qualifications
- Barista experience (preferred)
- Serving experience
- Knowledge of food safety practices
Overall the role would suit someone who is looking to work very few hours per week perhaps alongside a job or studies.
