CRM & Systems Administrator
InnerDrive | London | Full-time
About InnerDrive
InnerDrive is a UK-based EdTech company that helps schools and colleges translate the science of learning into everyday classroom practice. Through evidence-informed CPD training, workshops, and digital resources grounded in cognitive science, we support teachers and leaders to improve outcomes for students. We work with schools across the UK and internationally, and we're growing fast.
The Opportunity
We're building out a proper Revenue Operations function to power the next stage of InnerDrive's growth. As part of that, we're implementing Salesforce as our CRM and revenue platform, and we need someone to help us do it right.
This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who is as comfortable configuring Salesforce flows as they are thinking about what good pipeline hygiene looks like. You'll sit inside the RevOps team, working closely with Sales, Marketing, and leadership to make sure our systems and data are genuinely useful, not just theoretically in place.
If you're early in your RevOps career and want a role where you can build something from the ground up, this is it.
What You'll Do
Salesforce Build & Administration
- Own the day-to-day administration of Salesforce Sales Cloud, including objects, fields, flows, validation rules, and user management
- Build and maintain integrations across the Salesforce platform, including Marketing Cloud, and any other tools in the revenue stack
- Configure dashboards, reports, and pipeline views that your colleagues actually use
- Document how the system is set up and keep that documentation current as things evolve
Data Quality & Revenue Insights
- Own the health of our CRM data, establishing standards for lead, contact, and account hygiene
- Build and maintain reporting that gives Sales, Marketing, and leadership a clear view of pipeline, conversion, and revenue performance
- Support forecasting processes by making sure underlying data is accurate and consistent
- Identify gaps or inconsistencies in how data flows between systems and fix them
Process & Enablement
- Work with the CRO to translate revenue process requirements into system design
- Support the onboarding and ongoing training of AEs and SDRs on Salesforce, so adoption is high and processes are followed
- Document workflows, playbooks, and SOPs to support consistent usage across the team
- Act as a first port of call for Salesforce questions and troubleshooting from the revenue team
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Salesforce Certified Administrator (or actively working towards it)
- Hands-on experience configuring Salesforce in a commercial environment
- Strong understanding of CRM data structures, pipeline management, and sales processes
- Comfortable building reports, dashboards, and automations without needing hand-holding
- Curious, process-oriented thinker who asks why before they ask how
- Happy working in a small, fast-moving team where you'll need to be a generalist as much as a specialist
Desirable
- Background in a SME, scale-up, or EdTech environment
- Working knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud or a comparable marketing automation platform
- Understanding of lead-to-invoice process design or revenue operations methodology
- Additional Salesforce certifications such as Sales Cloud or Flow Builder
- Experience on a CRM implementation project, not just running a steady-state system
How You'll Work
You'll report directly to the CRO and work closely with Account Executives, SDRs, and the Head of Marketing. You'll be embedded in the Revenue Team, so you'll always have context on what's happening commercially and what the system needs to support.
Why InnerDrive
- A mission that matters: we help teachers teach better and students learn more effectively
- A small, genuinely collaborative team where your work has direct impact on commercial outcomes
- The opportunity to build something properly, rather than inherit a system that's already set in stone
- A company that takes evidence and good thinking seriously, in everything we do
