Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Install new electrical wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures according to project specifications and safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing electrical systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installation and repair tasks efficiently.
- Interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals to ensure accurate work execution.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to coordinate work schedules and project requirements.
- Document work performed, including inspections, repairs, and installations for record-keeping purposes.
- Assist in training apprentices or junior team members when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven electrical experience with a strong understanding of residential, commercial, or industrial wiring systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers, as well as power tools like drills and saws.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices relevant to the industry.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and quality.
- Valid electrician’s license or certification as required by local regulations.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
