We are an expanding fire & security specialist delivering high-end CCTV, access control, and door entry solutions across corporate offices, luxury residential developments, and commercial environments in the UK and Europe. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Enterprise Service & Maintenance Engineer based in or around London.
The Role
This is not a basic intruder alarm or domestic install role. We are looking for a true enterprise-tier engineer who can independently service, maintain, troubleshoot, and install high-level integrated security platforms across high-profile sites.
You will manage Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) routines, reactive call-outs, and small install/upgrade works across our London portfolio, serving as the technical authority on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- PPM & Reactive Maintenance: Carry out planned preventative maintenance visits and resolve complex reactive call-outs across a premium portfolio of corporate headquarters, commercial developments, and high-spec sites across London.
- CCTV & Access Control Installation: Install, fit, and commission new CCTV hardware and access control additions, ranging from simple camera swaps and system upgrades to complete multi-head IP CCTV rollouts and new door installations.
- Enterprise System Servicing: Maintain, diagnose, and repair high-tier enterprise security platforms:
- Enterprise Access Control: Software-level and hardware-level servicing on platforms such as Software House CCure 9000, Genetec, AMAG Symmetry, Lenel, or similar tier-1 enterprise systems.
- Enterprise IP CCTV / VMS: High-definition IP surveillance networks, enterprise Video Management Software (e.g., Genetec Omnicast, Milestone, Avigilon), VMS server configurations, and camera fault-finding.
- Commercial Door Entry & Integration: Networked IP video intercoms (e.g., Comelit, BPT, Fermax) and integration with access control platforms.
- Network & Database Diagnostics: Cable pulling, containment, termination, power supplies, heavy-duty locking hardware, as well as database communication and IP network routing.
- Client & Site Liaison: Serve as the technical authority on-site, liaising directly with Corporate Facilities Managers, Property Directors, and Building Security Teams.
- Reporting & Remedial Works: Complete detailed digital service reports, log system vulnerabilities or software/hardware obsolescence, and provide technical scope for necessary upgrade quotes.
Requirements (Strictly Essential)
- Proven Enterprise Experience: Proven experience servicing enterprise access control platforms, specifically CCure, Genetec, AMAG Symmetry, Lenel, or equivalent tier-1 platforms.
- Hands-on Installation & Commissioning: Solid practical experience installing and commissioning IP CCTV cameras (Axis, Hikvision, Avigilon, etc.), mounting hardware, wiring power supplies, terminating cables (Cat5e/Cat6, RJ45, coax), and configuring IP addresses/VMS settings.
- Fault-Finding: Demonstrated ability to trace hardware, field device, and software/network faults independently without reliance on technical support for routine issues.
- Client-Facing Skills: High level of professional presentation and communication suitable for prime corporate and commercial environments.
- Licensing & Travel: Full UK Driving Licence and Right to Work in the UK.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience working in data centres, critical infrastructure, or corporate headquarters.
- Industry certifications (e.g., CCure / Lenel / Genetec certified, ECS).
What We Offer
- Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 (DOE)
