Kitchen Porter – Join Our Team!
The Engine Room at Poundbury Gardens is looking for a hardworking, energetic Kitchen Porter to join our fantastic team.
This isn't a job where you'll be standing around waiting for something to do! We're a busy garden centre restaurant, and our kitchen is fast-paced from start to finish. If you enjoy keeping busy, work well under pressure and like being part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing:
- Washing pots, pans, crockery and kitchen equipment
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly
- Stock runs and replenishing supplies
- Helping the chefs by making sure they always have what they need during service
Hours:
- Thursday, Friday & Saturday: 10:00am – 6:00pm
- Sunday: 10:00am – 4:30/5:00pm
We're looking for someone who is:

- Calm under pressure and happy working at pace
- Reliable, hardworking and takes pride in doing a great job
- A positive team player with a good sense of humour
No two days are the same, but you'll be joining a friendly, welcoming team where everyone works together to deliver great food and great service.

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
