Join our vibrant team as a Front of House Team Member and be the welcoming face of our Spotlight Dance Academy!
In this nurturing role, you will greet our customers, welcome new members, ensure a tidy and presentable reception, for dance uniform and mange the store front. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help us welcome new and current dancers to the SDA family.
This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop skills working with children and adults in a nurturing and caring environment.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with showing new members around and introducing them to their class teacher.
- Fitting dance uniform and ensuring stock is up to date.
- Noting any stock that requires ordering
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including shop area, floors, changing and waiting areas
- Opportunities to develop your role as we build the business and expand
- Manage customer concerns and remain up to date with events at SDA
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or childcare environments
- Knowledge of dance, either as a dance parent or previous dancer
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing and cash handling purposes
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members
- Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
Hours
- Friday, 4-6pm
- Saturday, 8.45am-11.45am
- Sunday, 8.45am - 11am
- Term time only - 39 weeks in the year with the opportunity for overtime.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
