Bethany House Care Home is situated in the Lipson area of Plymouth. We require an experienced Cook to work in our busy Care Home. This role will be to work alongside our current chefs to prepare delicious meals according to menu. You will cook dishes that will delight our residents with their taste and timely delivery.
An excellent cook must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals. They must be deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important. All aspects of home cooking and baking required.
You will be required alternate weekends: 32.00 hours per week over 3/4days.
About you:
- A good level of English

- Able to use initiative
- Previous Knowledge of opening and closing checks and 'safer food, better business' preferred
- Food Hygiene Level 2
- Food Hygiene Level 3 Preferred or willing to gain this qualification within the Company
