Duties
- Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients to ensure efficient meal service
- Support the cooking process by following recipes and kitchen standards to deliver high-quality dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workspaces, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times to uphold hygiene standards and prevent contamination
- Help with serving meals to customers or staff in a timely and friendly manner
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to keep the kitchen well-equipped for daily operations
- Support the team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks efficiently and maintaining a positive attitude
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Basic skills in food preparation and cooking techniques are advantageous
