Responsibilities
- Assist residents and clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each person's specific needs and preferences
- Help with medication reminders and basic health monitoring under supervision
- Maintain clear and effective communication with team members, residents, and their families to ensure seamless care delivery
- Keep accurate records of care provided using IT systems and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Contribute to creating a warm, respectful environment that promotes dignity and independence for all individuals
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
- Good communication skills in English to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members
- Ability to use basic IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ well-being
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and adhere to health and safety protocols
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships within the team and with those receiving care
Pay: £13.00 per hour
