Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair cutting, coloring, styling, and finishing services tailored to each client’s preferences and features
- Offer expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and styling techniques to enhance client satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized work station adhering to health and safety standards
- Assist clients with additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application when appropriate
- Upsell retail products confidently to support clients’ ongoing hair care needs
- Manage front desk tasks including appointment scheduling, client check-in/out, and answering inquiries with excellent communication skills
- Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques and providing constructive feedback to foster skill development
Experience
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles and techniques
- Knowledge of store management principles to ensure smooth daily operations in a busy salon environment
- Experience in customer service with a focus on building lasting client relationships
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members alike
- Prior experience mentoring or training new staff members is advantageous
