iCare Living is seeking a dedicated and experienced Peripatetic Care Worker to support our clients across the Newcastle and Middlesbrough area. If you have a passion for providing exceptional care and are willing to travel and cover shifts at short notice, we want you on our team.
Job Description
As a Peripatetic Care Worker at iCare Living, you will:
- Provide high-quality care and support to clients with complex care needs across various locations.
- Be flexible and adaptable, covering shifts at short notice.
- Travel between Northumberland, Newcastle down to Middlesborough
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure the best care outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate and professional care to individuals with complex care needs.
- Assist clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Maintain accurate care records and communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure adherence to care plans and protocols to maintain high standards of care.
Requirements
- Willingness to travel and cover shifts at short notice.
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- This is a permanent, ongoing role. Applicants must have full, unrestricted work rights in the UK and the ability to work here on a permanent basis without employer sponsorship.
- You must hold a Enhanced Adult and Child DBS on the update service to start this role. *If you do not currently have an Enhanced Adult and Child DBS on the update service, you will be responsible for the cost of obtaining one*
