Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior Paraplanner to join our financial services team preferably Diploma Level 4. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of detailed financial reports and documentation for clients
- Support senior paraplanners and financial advisers with research and analysis tasks
- Gather and review information from providers and third parties
- Analyse data to support financial planning recommendations
- Assist in drafting and preparing suitability reports
- Contribute to the drafting of client correspondence and communication materials
- Help ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
- Manage administrative tasks related to client files, appointments, and follow-ups
- Develop organisational skills by prioritising tasks effectively to meet deadlines
- Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of financial planning processes and systems
Requirements
- Experience within financial services (IFA / wealth management preferred) or paraplanning support role
- Strong report writing and analysis skills with an interest in financial services
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional manner
- Basic understanding of financial planning principles is desirable but not essential; willingness to learn is crucial
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; IT literacy is essential
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
- Previous administrative experience or customer service background is advantageous
- Ability to work well within a team environment and demonstrate strong attention to detail
- A proactive attitude towards learning about the financial profession and regulatory environment
