Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waitress/Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. Previous restaurant experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
- Take food and drink orders accurately, ensuring prompt delivery
- Serve beverages responsibly, including alcohol, in accordance with licensing laws
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and bar stations
- Assist in food preparation and presentation as required, adhering to food safety standards
- Upsell menu items to maximise guest satisfaction and sales opportunities
- Handle payments efficiently using the point-of-sale system
- Ensure guest needs are met promptly, addressing any concerns professionally
- Support colleagues during busy periods to ensure smooth operation of the venue
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible serving of alcohol
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour towards guests
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and bills accurately
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- A proactive attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional guest service
