Job description
Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor and/or Manager, the role of Housekeeping Attendant will be to ensure all hotel rooms, apartments and public areas are serviced to an exceptional standard.
Duties will include but are not exhaustive to the following:-
- Removing used bed linen and towels.
- Cleaning and sanitising bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and living areas.
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing surfaces.
- Preparing beds with fresh linen for new guest arrivals.
- Replenishing rooms with fresh towels, toiletries and condiments for new guest arrivals.
- Emptying bins of general waste, ensuring correct disposal.
- Ensuring communal/public areas are clean, welcoming and smell fresh at all times.
Skills and Experience Required
Excellent cleaning skills and experience.
Attention to detail.
Experience working in a hotel or serviced apartment environment is preferred
Hours of Work
Various contracts are available. Hours of work must meet the needs of the business.
Preferred
Applicants must have experience working in housekeeping.
