We are looking for a reliable Carpenter to join our growing team. This is a varied role that will involve a range of carpentry duties as well as assisting with other construction and building tasks as required.
The successful candidate will be flexible, hardworking, and willing to turn their hand to different aspects of construction work. Projects may be based across the UK, so a willingness to work away from home when required is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all aspects of 1st and 2nd fix carpentry.
- Install doors, frames, skirting, architraves, flooring, and other timber products.
- Read and work from drawings and specifications.
- Assist with general building and construction tasks as required.
- Work collaboratively with other trades on site.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
- Access to own tools
Requirements
- Proven carpenter within the construction industry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible attitude and willingness to assist with a variety of building tasks.
- Good problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
- Willingness to travel and work away from home when required.
