Duties
- Manage entry and exit points to ensure only authorized individuals gain access to the premises
- Conduct thorough checks on visitors, staff, and contractors to promote safety and prevent unauthorized access
- Monitor CCTV systems continuously to observe activity across the venue, identifying potential security concerns
- Respond swiftly and effectively to incidents or disturbances, coordinating with emergency services when necessary
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing suspicious behavior and deterring theft or vandalism
- Enforce venue policies with professionalism, ensuring a safe environment for all attendees and staff
- Maintain detailed logs of shifts, incidents, and surveillance activities to support ongoing security operations
Requirements
- Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) Door Supervisor license and CCTV License (not Mandatory) is essential for employment
- Strong observational skills with experience in surveillance or CCTV monitoring preferred
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and ability to identify suspicious activity
- Basic first aid certification or willingness to obtain training upon hiring
- Excellent communication skills with a confident, approachable demeanor
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple responsibilities effectively
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, and respond quickly throughout shifts in a lively environment
