NSH Developments Ltd is a family run business. We are looking for an experienced self employed Groundworker / Groundworks Labourer to join our team.
We are based in Diss, Norfolk and carry out a variety of work on domestic extensions, renovations and new builds.
We are looking for someone who already has good, hands-on groundworks experience and can work alongside our existing team.
Just as importantly, we're looking for someone with the right attitude – reliable, hardworking, willing to listen and keen to continue learning and developing their skills.
We don't expect you to know everything, but we do expect you to have previous experience and a good understanding of groundworks.
Work Will Include
- Foundations
- Concreting
- Drainage
- Paving
- Excavation and digging
- Site preparation and clearance
- Underpinning
- General groundworks
- Assisting with other aspects of our projects when required
What We're Looking For
- Previous groundworks experience is essential
- Good practical knowledge and confidence working on site
- Reliable and punctual
- Hardworking with a good attitude
- Willing to listen, learn and improve
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Takes pride in their work
- Must have own transport
Additional construction skills, qualifications and tickets would be an advantage.
We offer regular, varied work with the opportunity to learn from experienced tradespeople and develop your skills further. We travel up to one hour from Diss.
