Front of House manager
About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, confident and experienced Front of House manager to join our team. This is a hands-on role, combining high-quality coffee preparation and customer service with responsibility for supporting the day-to-day running of the venue.
You will help lead the team during shifts, maintain high service standards and ensure customers receive a welcoming and enjoyable experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, hot and cold drinks.
- Provide friendly, professional and attentive customer service.
- Supervise and support the team during shifts.
- Allocate staff duties and ensure the smooth running of service.
- Open and/or close the venue when required.
- Handle cash and card payments accurately.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and food hygiene.
- Monitor stock levels and report any shortages.
- Ensure company procedures and health & safety standards are followed.
- Support with training and developing new team members.
- Deal confidently and professionally with customer queries or complaints.
- Lead by example and help create a positive team environment.
- Assist with food service and general front-of-house duties when required.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in a barista or hospitality environment.
- Confident working in a busy, fast-paced setting.
- Friendly, approachable and customer-focused.
- Reliable, organised and able to take responsibility.
- Comfortable leading and supporting a team.
- Passionate about delivering excellent service.
- Able to work independently and use initiative.
- Flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends.
Previous supervisory experience is preferred, but we are happy to consider an experienced barista who is ready to take the next step in their career.
