Are you an experienced tradesperson who takes pride in your work and enjoys seeing a job through from start to finish?
We are a well-established surveying and building company specialising in insurance-funded residential repairs and reinstatement works. Our reputation has been built on quality workmanship, reliability and excellent customer service, and we’re looking for someone who shares those values.
This isn’t volume site work or new builds. Every project is different, and the majority of our work takes place in customers’ homes following escape of water, fire, impact and other insured events. We understand that our customers have often been through a stressful experience, so professionalism, respect and quality are just as important as technical ability.
The Role
You’ll be carrying out a variety of residential repair and reinstatement works, including:
- Plastering
- 1st & 2nd fix plumbing
- Kitchen installations
- Bathroom installations
- General carpentry including doors, skirting and architraves
- Wall and floor tiling
- Flooring
- Decorating
- General finishing and property repairs
You’ll work alongside other skilled trades when required, but you’ll also be trusted to manage your own jobs, organise your workload and maintain high standards from start to finish.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has strong experience across several trades
- Produces consistently high-quality work
- Can work independently and solve problems on site
- Is organised, reliable and takes ownership of their work
- Is polite, professional and confident dealing with customers
- Takes pride in leaving every property clean and tidy
- Holds a full UK driving licence
- Has their own vehicle (business fuel card provided)
Previous experience within insurance reinstatement or residential maintenance would be an advantage but isn’t essential for the right person.
What We Offer
- £40,000–£50,000 per year depending on experience
- Business fuel card
- Company uniform
- Paid holiday
- Pension scheme
- Full-time permanent employment
- Consistent year-round work
- Supportive office team who plan and manage your workload
- Opportunity to take responsibility for your own projects
- Friendly, professional company with high standards and a great reputation
