Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Steel Erector / Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. This role involves working on majority agricultural buildings with the possibility of some industrial work, specialising in steel framework installation and concrete finishing. The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work safely in demanding environments. Duties
- Erecting steel frameworks according to engineering specifications and safety standards
- Operating hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialised machinery for assembly and installation
- Performing concrete finishing tasks, including pouring, smoothing, and sealing surfaces
- Assisting with the installation of formwork, rebar, and other structural components
- Conducting inspections of erected steel structures for alignment and stability
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations at all times
- Assisting with site preparation and clean-up activities to maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately
Requirements
- Valid driving licence for commercial driving duties is desirable
- Physical fitness to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces
- Strong commitment to safety procedures and quality standards
- Flexibility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
This position is ideal for individuals seeking a challenging role within the construction industry. pay will be reflected on experience main requirements are hard working and good time keeping willing to teach anyone as long as the person is willing to learn you would be working with my self and possibly one other person will be a small team and looking to have a good work environment. as stated majority of work is is agricultural sheds so the right person must be willing to work on farms.
Pay: £12.50-£17.00 per hour
