As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for a confident, organised and personable Treatment Coordinator to become a key member of our team.

The Role
As our Treatment Coordinator, you will be responsible for guiding patients through their treatment journey, from their initial enquiry to accepting and completing treatment.
You will be the main point of contact for patients considering treatment, helping them understand their options, discussing finance solutions, answering questions and following up outstanding treatment plans. You'll work closely with our clinicians to maximise patient care whilst helping the practice achieve its growth goals.
This role combines outstanding customer service with sales, communication and organisation, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both patient interaction and achieving targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to enquiries via telephone, email and online messaging platforms
- Build trust and rapport with prospective and existing patients
- Book consultations and manage clinician diaries effectively
- Contact patients with outstanding treatment plans and encourage them to begin treatment
- Follow up consultations and treatment plans using a structured communication process
- Discuss treatment options confidently and clearly, ensuring patients fully understand their choices
- Explain payment options and assist patients with finance applications
- Manage open treatment plan reports and maintain consistent follow-up until an outcome is achieved
- Contact patients due recalls and encourage regular attendance
- Fill cancellations and short-notice appointments to maximise diary utilisation
- Liaise with dentists and the clinical team to ensure a seamless patient journey
- Keep accurate records of all patient communications and treatment discussions
- Process deposits and payments where required
- Deliver an exceptional patient experience at every stage
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with GDPR and practice policies
- Support the reception and administrative team when required
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is naturally confident, motivated and enjoys speaking with people.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a Treatment Coordinator
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A warm, professional and confident telephone manner
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- The ability to build trust and influence patients in an ethical and supportive way
- Experience discussing finance options or treatment plans
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and dental software
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional patient care
