Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and responsive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with early years frameworks.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development and daily activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive team environment that enhances the quality of care provided.
- Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities, ensuring smooth transitions throughout the day.
Skills
- Strong background in Nursery or Childcare settings, with experience working with children in an educational context.
- Knowledge of Early Childhood Education principles and practices is essential.
- Excellent leadership skills to guide and support junior staff members as needed.
- Proficient communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a calm and positive attitude.
- A genuine love for working with children and the ability to drive engagement through creative play and learning activities.
The appointed person will be responsible for:
· Ensuring children are cared for in a happy secure and stimulating environment.
· Have knowledge, understanding and confidence in keeping children safe and implement our safeguarding procedures appropriately.
· Carry out a key person role, building effective relationships with the parents and children and meeting the children’s individual care and learning needs.
· Supervise, observe, encourage and support the children in meeting their personal targets through their interest in ensuring they progress and develop leading them onto the path of school readiness.
· To plan, prepare and deliver the curriculum with the team to consistently meet the requirements of the EYFS.
· Undertake our mandatory induction program.

.Salary and Benefits
- Salaries are negotiable, depending on age and experience.
- Full training (both virtual and in-person) at all levels will be provided by Angels, with all costs covered.
- Regular salary reviews and opportunity for in house promotion / career progression in line with our ethos.
- 28 days of annual leave as a minimum, including bank holidays and an extra day off for your birthday with opportunity for increased annual leave based on positive attendance and increasing service.

Pay: £13.00-£17.00 per hour
