Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and safety concerns.
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks including engine diagnostics, brake repairs, suspension work, and electrical system troubleshooting.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repair jobs efficiently and accurately.
- Carry out routine servicing such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and fluid replacements.
- Assist with the installation of aftermarket parts or accessories as required.
- Maintain detailed records of all work carried out on each vehicle in accordance with company standards.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Assist with inventory management by ordering parts and supplies as needed.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with a good understanding of vehicle systems and components.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling vehicle parts or equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in automotive repair or a recognised qualification in vehicle maintenance is needed
