About the Role
Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher looking to inspire young learners in a caring, progressive environment?
We are seeking a compassionate Primary Teacher to join a vibrant school community in North Northamptonshire. This full-time role is central to the school’s ethos of fostering a nurturing space where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.
Focusing on Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 (KS1), you will play a pivotal role in shaping early educational experiences through personalized learning, inclusive practices, and holistic development.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum & Lesson Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in EYFS and KS1 that encourage curiosity, creativity, and independence.
- Personalized & Inclusive Learning: Assess and monitor individual pupil progress, applying differentiated teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning needs.
- Positive Environment: Build a classroom culture anchored in the school’s core values of respect, resilience, and responsibility.
- Assessment & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of academic progress and behavior, creating reports to inform future planning and keep parents updated.
- Collaboration: Partner with colleagues, support staff, and families to foster the academic, social, and emotional growth of every pupil.
- School Community & Safeguarding: Contribute to school events, staff meetings, and professional development while upholding high standards of health, safety, and pupil well-being.
Requirements
Essential:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent primary teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching within a Primary School setting (specifically EYFS or KS1).
- Strong understanding of early childhood development, differentiation, and positive behavior management.
