A unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a growing healthcare organisation.
Twyford Care Group is entering an exciting phase of growth through organic expansion, strategic acquisitions and the development of new services.
We're looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our growing head office team and work closely with our Managing Director and CFO. This newly created role offers the opportunity to strengthen our finance function, provide meaningful commercial insight and help build the financial foundations that will support our continued growth.
This isn't a role where you'll simply produce reports from behind a desk. We're looking for someone who enjoys understanding the business behind the numbers, building strong relationships across the organisation and using finance to support better decision-making. As a collaborative organisation, we believe finance delivers the greatest value when it works alongside operational teams to improve performance, solve challenges and identify opportunities.
Why join Twyford Care Group?
- Play a key role in strengthening and developing the finance function during an exciting period of growth.
- Work closely with the Managing Directors and CFO, gaining valuable exposure to business decisions and partnering with colleagues across the organisation.
- Lead improvements to finance systems, processes and ways of working, helping build a scalable finance function for the future.
- Gain exposure to commercial projects, acquisitions and business improvement initiatives.
The Role
As Finance Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the Group, ensuring strong financial management while providing the insight and information needed to support operational and strategic decisions.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the day-to-day finance function across Twyford Care Group and associated companies.
- Producing monthly management accounts, cash flow reporting, budgets, forecasts and financial models.
- Providing KPI reporting, management information and financial analysis to support business performance.
- Supporting commercial decision-making through financial modelling, pricing analysis and business cases.
- Monitoring cash flow, working capital and financial performance.
- Overseeing payroll, invoicing, purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control.
- Developing finance systems, supporting future software migrations and driving process improvements, automation and stronger financial controls.
- Supporting acquisitions, business integration projects and new service developments.
- Working closely with operational colleagues, external accountants and key stakeholders to ensure finance supports the wider business.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory accounting requirements and internal financial policies.
About You
We're looking for a proactive finance professional who combines strong technical knowledge with commercial awareness and enjoys working collaboratively across a growing organisation.
Experience & Qualifications:
- A recognised accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or AAT Level 4).
- Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Management Accountant or in a similar finance leadership role.
- Strong experience producing monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts.
- Experience developing finance systems, implementing process improvements or supporting software migrations.
- Excellent knowledge of financial controls, reporting and cash flow management.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical ability.
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to explain financial information to non-financial colleagues.
- A collaborative, solutions-focused approach and the ability to build strong working relationships.
- The legal right to live and work in the UK.
Salary & Benefits
- £45,000–£50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
