Lemon Tree Day Nursery is looking for an exceptional leader to help open our brand new nursery in Cosham.
This is a rare opportunity to lead a brand-new nursery, build an outstanding team, shape a positive culture and play a key role in creating an environment where children, families and staff can flourish.
Salary: £36,000–£42,000 per annum (full-time equivalent), depending on experience.
Hours: 30–40 hours per week.
We are flexible regarding working hours and would consider applications from candidates looking to work 30, 35 or 40 hours per week. Salary will be pro-rata based on agreed hours and experience.
As Nursery Manager, you will have the autonomy to lead the nursery day to day, whilst being fully supported by an experienced owner, and our two sister settings close by.
We welcome experienced Nursery Managers, as well as ambitious Deputy Managers who feel ready to take the next step in their career. We are looking for the right person, not simply the longest CV.
We’re looking for someone who is positive, reliable and solutions focused. Someone with strong leadership and people skills is a must. Essential requirements:
- Full and relevant Level 3 qualification (minimum)
- Strong nursery experience.
- Safeguarding knowledge and confidence.
- Leadership and team management skills.
Experience of Ofsted, whether as a Nursery Manager or as a member of staff during an inspection, would be beneficial.
