Job Overview
We are looking for HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers to join our logistics team. This role involves staying out on the road for 4 days/nights weekly.
The main jobs will be Amazon Contracts and General Haulage.

Responsibilities
- Operate HGV Class 1 lorries, primarily amazon trailers and curtain side trailers, in compliance with all road safety and legal regulations
- Conduct pre-journey checks to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness
- Ensure the load is properly secured before starting the jorney
- Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedule
- Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with clients during deliveries
- Ensure the security of cargo throughout transit and at delivery points
- Comply with tachograph regulations and working hours legislation during long-distance trips
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of HGV Class 1 driving experience in the UK
- Valid UK driving licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card
- Settled or Pre-Settled Status is necessarily
- Maximum 6 penalty points on licence
- Previous Amazon driving experience is an advantage
- Good organisational skills to manage schedules and routes effectively
- Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members
- Flexibility to stay out for 4 days/nights as required by the role
- Flexifility to work at the night while working for Amazon if required.
