Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a fleet of HGV's and FLT's, ensuring their safe and efficient operation.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
- Investigate any vehicle damage and take appropriate action.
- Agree, implement and maintain a Service Level Agreement (SLA) with equipment suppliers.
- Coordinate vehicle repairs and maintenance with external vendors ensuring the most cost effective Solution for Proserve.
- Monitor fuel consumption and implement strategies to improve fuel efficiency.
- Track and analyze fleet data, including mileage, maintenance costs, and driver performance
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to fleet management
- Provide guidance and support to drivers regarding vehicle operation and safety protocols
- Manage vehicle inventory, including acquisition, disposal, and replacement - Please note this is not a planning role!
Requirements:
- Holder of Transport Manager CPC
- Proven experience in fleet management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and safety standards
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using fleet management software and tools
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: £40,000.00-£41,000.00 per year
