We are seeking a motivated and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating a Class 2 Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) for the collection and delivery of trucks and trailer across various locations. Due to the nature of the business, the movements will be required at the limit of high and heavy. Your expertise in commercial driving, combined with a proactive attitude, will ensure you stay compliant while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where your driving skills make a real impact.
Based in Stoke-on-Trent Monday to Friday the ideal candidate will be expected to spend 4 nights out per week in a tramping role, covering all areas of mainland Britain. You will be an ambassador for the company; a professional and polite approach is always a must.
Our company policy is one driver to one vehicle and personal pride in the vehicle will be expected. Cleanliness and presentation are essential.
We are extremely passionate about the appearance of our trucks: Spotlights, Bull Bars and Alloys - the ideal candidate will be spoilt.
Duties
· Safely operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle to collect and deliver to designated location in the UK
· Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each shift to ensure safety and compliance
· Communicate professionally with customers, and team members throughout the day
· Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations and company policies
Skills
Proven experience as a commercial HGV driver with full Licence & CPC required
- Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safety procedures for HGV vehicles
- Full understanding of the EU & Domestic regulations as well as working time directive.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Ability to handle physical tasks related to loading/unloading HGV vehicles efficiently
- Good navigation skills and familiarity with route planning tools
- Strong communication skills and professional attitude in customer interactions
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and deliver in various weather conditions

Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
