Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and resilient Inclusion Support Worker to join our Inclusion team. This rewarding role involves supporting students to overcome barriers to learning, staffing our Reflection Room, supporting within our onsite Alternative Provision, and helping students who are experiencing emotional dysregulation. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour, encouraging reflection, restoring relationships, and helping young people reintegrate successfully into learning. This is an exciting opportunity to have a meaningful impact on the lives of students who need additional guidance and support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to help pupils access the curriculum
- Assisting in the development of independence, and confidence
- Supporting communication and social development
- Adapting your approach to meet the individual needs of each pupil
- Contributing to a nurturing and structured learning environment
Role Requirements
Experience in a school environment is essential for this role. We are looking for people based in the Leeds area, with the right attitude and transferable skills to be able to support children ages 11-18 with challenging behaviours. What matters most for this role is a genuine passion for supporting children on their education journey and a commitment to a long-term placement.
