Working in a busy Catering Equipment and Ingredients wholesale and distribution warehouse based in Kirkcaldy, Fife.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Warehouse cleanliness – sweeping, emptying bins, recycling, and shredding of empty boxes
- Inventory counting, organisation and rotation.
- Relabelling and repacking of stock.
- Assisting warehouse operatives in collating larger orders.
- Pick, pack and prepare small orders with accuracy and speed.
- Assist in all areas of the business as and when required to meet daily operational needs.
- Participate regularly in on the job and refresher training when required.
- Report all incidents, hazards and unsafe practices in the working environment to the management team in a timely manner.
- Report any accidental damage to stock or the building during the working day to the management team in a timely manner.
- Checking, testing and repacking of inventory as required.
- Movement of pallets using a pallet truck.
- Adhering to H&S regulations at all times.
Candidate Requirements:
- Forklift certificate preferred but not essential.
- Manual Handling Experience.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines with high accuracy.
- Be able to work unsupervised and within a small team.
- Have a strong work ethic, be self-motivated and have good timekeeping.
- Be able to work quickly but efficiently and able to follow health & safety procedures at all times.
Full-time permanent position: 38 Hours per week.
Hours: Monday – Thursday 09:00 – 17:30, Friday 09:00 – 15:30.
Holiday: 28 Days
Profit Sharing Bonus: £3,000 - £5,000*
* Paid quarterly, 2 months in arrears. Enrolled on the first full quarter after 6 months of service. Figures based on average bonuses paid in the past 24 months, bonus will vary depend on the company performance.
