Pay: £95-£100 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm

We are recruiting enthusiastic and creative Teaching Assistants with backgrounds in Drama, Performing Arts or the Creative Arts to join mainstream primary schools across East London for the 2026/27 academic year.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates and professionals from creative backgrounds who are interested in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and gaining valuable experience in a school setting.
To help you secure your September role, schools are offering trial days between now and the end of the current school term, giving you the chance to gain classroom experience, meet the team and ensure the role is the right fit for you.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils with SEN in the classroom on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Helping pupils develop communication, confidence and social skills
- Using creativity, imagination and energy to support learning and engagement
- Contributing to a positive and nurturing school environment
You Will Need To:
- Have a background in, or passion for, Drama, Performing Arts or the Creative Arts
- Be confident, patient and adaptable
- Have a genuine interest in working with children
- Be available full-time from September 2026 for the full academic year
- Be willing to attend trial days before the end of the current school year
