New Century Rollers (UK), established for over 25 years and one of the leaders of the industry, and now expending into subcontract precision machining, requires an experienced CNC programmer/operator.
This is a great opportunity for a CNC programmer/operator, who wishes to be part of a small but rapidly growing team.

Key Responsibilities
· Program, set and operate CNC Turning centres (MAZAK, Mazatrol)
· Be involved with 1st off inspection and carry out in-process inspection
· Use precision measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges etc)
· Identify and report any quality issues or non conformances
· Maintain a safe, clean and organised environment
Knowledge skills and experience
· A minimum 2 years post qualification experience in a CNC turning background
· Experience with long bed lathes (steady rest etc.) beneficial
· Strong understanding of engineering drawings, interpreting these into tooling selection and cutting strategies
· Experience with various types of materials, including exotic alloys
· Good knowledge of using various types of measuring equipment
· Good communication skills, being able to integrate into a small team
