Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm
Location: The team works across various sites throughout South Wales, covering Pembroke to Cardiff and north to Abergavenny. Candidates would ideally be based between Pembroke and Swansea.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating power tools and equipment to undertake cutting and maintenance work in line with contract requirements.
Ensuring work specifications and method statements are completed and followed.
Completing all required site documentation, employment records and risk assessments.
Following operational procedures, safe working methods and environmental best practice.
Maintaining plant, equipment and company vehicles in good condition.
When supervising sites, ensuring work is completed safely, productively and to the required standard.
Liaising with management regarding work specifications and method statements.
Completing work in line with agreed programmes, cutting cycles and contract specifications, achieving the required standard first time.
Ensuring agreed working times, budgets and timescales are followed.
Implementing actions arising from internal and external audits.
Reporting progress against contract-delivery requirements.
Maintaining the competencies and personal development required for your role and supporting the development of your team.
Remaining polite, professional and courteous at all times.
Key Hiring Criteria:
As the lead member of a dedicated maintenance team, you will undertake vegetation management and associated operations on our National Grid Vegetation Management Contract. You will carry out your duties to the highest standards, always ensuring your own safety and that of your colleagues.
You will need:

CS32, CS38, CS39, CS40, CS41 and CS45
UA1, UA2.1 and UA5
PA1 and PA6AW
B+E driving entitlement
