Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Assist in food preparation, including assembling sandwiches, salads, and baked goods according to established recipes
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and cleanliness protocols at all times
- Serve customers with a positive attitude, taking orders accurately and providing excellent customer service
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick turnaround of orders
- Support kitchen operations by organizing supplies, restocking ingredients, and cleaning workstations regularly
- Follow proper cash handling procedures and assist with basic math calculations for transactions
- Complete cleaning to high standards
Experience
- Previous barista experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with espresso machines and drink customization
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks with attention to detail and safety standards
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing inventory levels effectively
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
