Key Responsibilities
- Design LV power distribution, lighting, and safety systems
- Produce precise electrical layout drawings, schematics, and details using AutoCAD.
- Perform detailed electrical network calculations and cable sizing using Amtech.
- Create comprehensive internal and external lighting designs and simulations in Dialux.
- Ensure strict compliance with BS 7671 regulations and UK Building Regulations.
- Collaborate face-to-face with the local engineering, drafting, and project management teams.
Requirements
- Proven electrical design experience spanning residential, commercial, and industrial structures.
- High proficiency in AutoCAD, Amtech, and Dialux software packages.
- In-depth, up-to-date knowledge of BS 7671 wiring regulations.
- Commutable distance to the Ashton-under-Lyne office for your agreed hours.
