Role: VR Lab/Building Manager

Invergex is currently seeking a full-time Lab/Building Manager to join the team. This role would be based at a new Virtual Reality performance centre in South Bristol.

Role Description
- Oversee the management of building operations, including maintenance, security, and safety protocols
- Manage the building aspects of the virtual and mixed reality laboratory space. The site will be a shared space for multiple uses and customers to run a variety of different test scenarios, as well as to support high-profile demonstrations and presentations. This role will need to find structured solutions to deconflict these events and ensure facilities are accessible when required.
- This role would also oversee upgrades or maintenance, keeping logs of all modifications. Including being responsible for finding, awarding, and managing contractor improvements to the building.

- This role would work closely with both Invergex Engineers and Invergex’s partners, as well as government bodies, to ensure an immaculately presented world-class testing space.
- The role will also cover ad hoc tasks where necessary to complete the lab's mission.
Qualifications
- Formal training in Facilities and/or Logistics management
- Understanding of the Ministry of Defence structures and working practices preferred
- Understanding of ISO9001 and UK Health and Safety Policy Preferred
Experience
- Experience working in a facilities management role or Logistics support
- Experience working with the MoD and the MoD supporting business
- Experience working with UK Health and Safety, Fire Safety Assessment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Strong ability to work as part of a cross-functional team
Pay: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
