Permanent Saturday Teacher Opportunity – babyballet Tameside
We are excited to be looking for a new Permanent Saturday Teacher to join our wonderful babyballet family in Denton.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about dance, performance and working with young children.
The successful applicant will teach our Saturday morning classes (approximately 4 classes), with the commitment to be available every Saturday during term time. However, holiday cover can be available if time off is needed, so you will have support from our team of cover teachers.
We are looking for someone who:
Is confident, enthusiastic and friendly when working with groups of young children.
Has a background in dance or theatre / performance.
Is reliable, energetic and keen to become part of our babyballet community.
No teaching qualifications are required as full training will be provided.
You will need an enhanced DBS and first aid qualification. We can help with both of these before training commences.
Training will take place in Denton on Saturday mornings between 8:30am–12:00pm and will be paid at minimum wage. Once training is complete, the pay will be £20 per 40-minute class delivered. Training starts in September and lasts approximately 2-3 months.
Our classes run in line with Tameside school holidays, meaning this is mainly term-time work, with a slightly longer schedule during the summer when we remain open for additional weeks. This job can lead to more work with us throughout the week.
