Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Bank Staff to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will provide flexible, high-quality support across various nursery settings, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. Your energy and commitment will help foster positive learning experiences, assist with daily activities, and support classroom staff in delivering engaging educational programs. Responsibilities
- Assist with the supervision and care of children during daily routines, including play, meals, naps, and transitions
- Support lesson planning and curriculum development aligned with early childhood education standards and individual needs
- Help implement learning technology tools and educational resources to enhance classroom activities
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote literacy, math skills, physical development, and social-emotional growth
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by following health and safety protocols and managing behavior effectively
- Collaborate with teaching staff to monitor progress of children with special educational needs or disabilities
- Support classroom management strategies to foster positive behavior and conflict resolution among children
Skills
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
- Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional design for young learners
- Knowledge of learning technology platforms (LMS) and their integration into classroom activities
- Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities or special needs
- Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and team members clearly and positively
- Classroom management expertise to create a nurturing environment conducive to learning and growth
- Familiarity with Montessori or preschool teaching methodologies is a plus
- Skilled in behavior management techniques and conflict resolution strategies
- Experience in childcare settings such as private schools or preschools is highly desirable
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining a lively, energetic approach
